The Romanian Energy Center (CRE) is a non-governmental and non-profit organization that represents the interests of state-owned and private companies operating on the Romanian energy market towards national and European institutions.

Our Mission

CRE functions as a non-governmental, non-profit and non-political organization that identifies, supports and equally represents the interests of its members.

Objectives

The main objective of CRE is to promote the active participation of Romanian state-owned and private energy companies in European partnerships, in co-financed projects and, more importantly, in the European decision-making process. CRE advocates for the interests of the Romanian energy sector.

About Us

Romanian Energy Center (CRE) was established in 2011, in Brussels and Bucharest at the same time.

The Romanian Energy Center contributes to European decision-making with the aim of encouraging and promoting investments in low-carbon technologies and support the transition to a decarbonized energy system.

Members

CRE represents both public-owned companies and private companies involved in the energy sector.

ROMANIAN ENERGY CENTER ASSOCIATION IS MORE THAN WELCOME TO ANNOUNCE THAT EDDIE PROJECT IS STILL IN THE LIMELIGHT AFTER MORE THAN 3 YEARS OF ACTIVITY

The representatives of Romanian Energy Center Association (CRE) are more than welcome to announce that EDDIE Project is approaching its end, and after 3.5 years of activity combined with the hard work of the consortium, it still continues to reach a diverse and large audience. Recently, the outcomes of the project were showcased during the European Sustainable Energy Week 2023 (EUSEW) conference. As such, these references are demonstrating the high relevance of EDDIE’s activity in the energy sector.

EDDIE PROJECT PARTICIPATED AT ENLIT EUROPE 2022

The representatives of the EDDIE project participated and contributed in the last part of the year 2022 at ENLIT Europe Event, which was held between 29th of November and the 1st of December in Frankfurt, Germany.

THE ROMANIAN ENERGY CENTER ASSOCIATION CONTRIBUTED AT THE 6th INTERNATIONAL ADVISORY BOARD OF EDDIE PROJECT

The representatives of the Romanian Energy Center (CRE) Association participated and contributed at the 6th International Advisory Board (IAB) of EDDIE Project – „EDucation for Digitalization of Energy”, which took place in the Online Environment. This important Meeting was organized by the project coordinator COMILLAS Pontifical University, on Thursday, 8th of June 2023. The role of Education in the Digital Era for Digitalization will create the framework for EDDIE Project to take part in the decision-making process of Digitalization of the European Energy Sector (DEES).

CRE ASSOCIATION IS PLEASED TO ANNOUNCE THAT EDDIE PROJECT WAS INCLUDED IN THE CEDEFOP SKILLS INTELLIGENCE WEBPORTAL

The representatives of the Romanian Energy Center (CRE) Association are pleased to announced that EDDIE Project – ”EDucation for Digitalization of Energy” was recently included in the European Centre for the Development of Vocational Training (CEDEFOP) Skills Intelligence Platform. The main objective is to involve blueprint projects in the Agency’s work by contributing with specific information about the activities conducted, key findings and key outcomes related to skills and vocational education and training.

CRE ASSOCIATION IS PLEASED TO ANNOUNCE THAT EDDIE PROJECT WAS WELL REFERENCED IN THE DIGITALISING THE ENERGY SYSTEM - EU ACTION PLAN

The representatives of CRE Association are pleased to announced that EDDIE Project – ”EDucation for Digitalization of Energy” was well referenced in the framework of the ”Digitalising the Energy System – EU Action Plan” which was released on 18th of October 2022 by the European Commission (EC). The Action Plan is very important and relevant for EDDIE Project for the development of the long-driven sector skills strategy and the creation of a large-scale partnership on digitalization of the energy value chain strongly linked with the future entity, proposed by the Blueprint Erasmus+ project.
