The European Union is facing probably its most challenging decade since its establishment. The ”polycrisis” environment of the past two years, sanitary, economic, societal and military determine the deepest global energy crisis, posing serious threats to the member states’ stability and competitiveness on the international arena.
However, the European energy security is going through a moment of great opportunities. Re-engaging actors into multi-country measures, strengthening interconnections and supply sources, evolving power relations, the emergence of new energy technologies and subsequent labor skills will reform the energy markets, ultimately strengthening security of supply, assuring energy prices affordability and accelerating the energy tranzition.
The Romanian Energy Day conference, at its 12th edition, brings together key stakeholders to highlight the best available scenarios for the current challenges and the roadmap to follow.
Context and set-up: keynote speeches, opinions sharing and debates between authorities, associations, financial institutions and energy companies, on the topics of REPower-ing the European energy sector and the new electricity market design.
