Strengthening the European dimension of Innovation and Development in the energy sector in Romania
Through the Development and Innovation Department established in 2015, the Professional Association of the Romanian Energy Centre (CRE) can proudly present 12 successfully implemented European projects, all in partnerships funded by the European Commission through programs such as Horizon 2020 and Erasmus Plus. Through the Permanent Offices in Brussels and Bucharest, the representatives of this innovative team are in permanent contact with European and national institutions, regulatory authorities and other energy associations active in the electricity sector and represented both in Brussels and Bucharest, with the objective of creating new alliances and new Consortia for the implementation of new innovative Project Proposals selected, validated and financially recognized by the European Commission.
CRE is a successful partner that has promoted its members and other potential members in international consortia, for the implementation of 12 European energy projects: RESERVE together with TRANSELECTRICA, SUCCES together with ELECTRICA, WiseGRID, NRG-5 together with ROMGAZ, CROSSBOW together with TRANSELECTRICA and 7 other transmission and system operators from Central and Eastern Europe, SOGNO together with CEZ Romania and TELEKOM Romania, PHOENIX together with TRANSELECTRICA, TELETRANS and E.ON ROMANIA (DelGAZ), TRINITY, EDDIE, EDGEFLEX, CYBERSEAS, DIGITAL4ENERGY (Project co-financed by the European Social Fund through the Human Capital Operational Program 2014-2020).
