CROSSBOW proposes innovative solutions by sharing partners' resources to encourage cross-border management of variable renewable energy and storage, enabling increased penetration of clean energy while reducing grid operational costs and improving the economic benefits of clean energy and storage.
Encouraging regional cooperation between system operators in South East Europe. The project offers 9 different tools to help the Regional Coordination Center in the region to facilitate a greater penetration of Renewable Energy Sources - RES, while reducing operational costs for individual operators at both the transmission and distribution levels of electricity.
It contributes to the assessment of the technical and socio-economic impact of CROSSBOW integrated solutions, to the definition of business models and solutions to overcome local, regional and global obstacles, to the exploitation of results, to the business innovation strategy and to the development of new standards.
