Facilitating the interconnection of electricity markets in South East Europe, with the wider aim of the Multi-Regional Coupling (MRC) area, through cross-border trading and balancing of energy exchange, enabling wider penetration of Renewable Energy Sources - RES. The interconnectivity challenges are mainly addressed by the end-users, who will develop and use the following products: T-S Market Coupling Framework, T-S Sentinel Toolset, T-Control Center RES and IT Coordination Platform.
Together with the consortium partners, CRE is contributing to the development of three major products and is also coordinating work on impact evaluation and replicability to assess the impact of TRINITY and the pilot projects carried out under the project.
